An evening with the enigmatic neo-classical powerhouse

Duration: 2 hours
Offered languages: English

Overview

Fotografiska Berlin welcomes Lambert, the anonymous German pianist whose intricate and emotional compositions have revolutionised Europe's neo-classical scene, for an intimate live performance in our Ballroom.
Having recently released his eighth album, All This Time, on the legendary jazz label Verve (in association with his home label, Mercury KX), Lambert will present an evening of jazz, modern classical, tints of electronica, and even pop-rock undertones, all filtered through his trademark captivating style.
Join us to experience this one-of-a-kind artist at the height of his game.

About Lambert

Born in Hamburg in 1983, Lambert spent his early years studying jazz piano and classical music. Relocating to Berlin in his twenties, he honed his virtuosic craft while playing the drums in garage bands and taking advantage of the city's legendary nightlife scene. Donning a Sardinian leather mask in 2014, he created his onstage persona, and released his self-titled, debut album to critical acclaim.
Since, he has released eight full-length albums, scored the 2015 German comedy Hedi Schneider Is Stuck, and toured extensively around the world.
