Rhythm & Flow Dance Battle - SOLD OUT

19 Oct | Hip Hop & House Ballroom Takeover

Duration: 4 hours
Offered languages: Deutsch, English

Overview

Get ready for the ultimate ballroom takeover, where hip hop passion collides with fierce competition in two electrifying dance battles. Feel the adrenaline as dancers go head-to-head in the Seven to Smoke Hip Hop and House Battles. With beats from DJ ITSWHY and seasoned dancers judging, the stage is set for dancers to prove who reigns supreme.

Our host for the night is Iman Gele – a dancer and co-founder of the women's collective Walashé and the Krump collective NDA BIVINI. She draws from Hip Hop, Krump and House Dance styles in her performances and has been featured at Tanz im August Festival Berlin and Malmö Dance Week.

Judging the Hip Hop Battle is Sophia, a hip hop dancer with over 10 years of experience in battles. Thomias Radin, an artist, teacher and a key figure in the dance culture in Germany, will be our judge for the Seven to Smoke House Battle.

In charge of music for the night is DJ ITSWHY, a self-taught artist from Morocco, with 16 years of experience as a Berlin-based DJ, producer and dance educator, actively participating in global Hip Hop, contemporary, and cultural projects.

This dance battle is organized in cooperation with Gangway e.V.
Hip Hop: Conscious, Unconscious is presented by Fotografiska and Mass Appeal, in partnership with Johnnie Walker.
