Photographing Musicians
3/10/17 August | Authentic portraiture beyond pose & persona – course with Philipp Gladsome
Overview
This course is about the process of shaping a musician’s image through a portrait. It’s Inspired by the work of Anton Corbijn, whose images shaped the visual identities of musicians through psychological depth and intimacy.
Hosted by Philipp Gladsome, the course focuses on trust, presence, and translating personality into authentic imagery.
Across three following Monday evenings, it combines elements of theory, practice and reflection – as well as collaborating directly with musicians and artists.
