Join artist hannah goldstein for a 3-hour hands-on collage workshop that invites you to explore new ways of visual storytelling. Using found images, scissors, glue, you experiment with layering, cutting, and composing to create unique and personal works.

The workshop introduces key collage techniques and composition approaches, with guided exercises and space for free experimentation. You explore how images can shift in meaning when combined, and how collage can become a tool for expression beyond traditional photography.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your creative process, this session offers a relaxed, supportive space to make, reflect, and share.

Feel free to bring your own photographs if you’d like to incorporate them into your collages.

hannah goldstein

hannah goldstein is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans photography, collage and video, with a strong foundation in feminist thought. Her projects challenge societal norms and address topics such as female histories and the gender and race disparities in the art world. In her collage work, goldstein explores the juxtaposition of images, often using elements like balloons, boats and themes of disappearance and fear.

With a B.A. in Photography from Bard College and experience studying under luminaries such as Stephen Shore and Nan Goldin, goldstein has a rich educational and professional background. Her work has been exhibited globally, and she is represented by Jacob Hoerner Galleries in Melbourne.
